ABOUT TDJ
SINGAPORE’S ONLY NBA-LEVEL BASKETBALL ACADEMY
TDJ Basketball Academy was built for athletes and families who want more than casual basketball training.
We are here to raise the standard of basketball development in Singapore — through structured coaching, real progression, global basketball connections, and a pathway that gives serious athletes a clearer view of what the next level actually demands.
TDJ is the only academy in Singapore with the network and resources to support athletes who are serious about pursuing NCAA Division I, II, or III opportunities, or playing professionally outside of Singapore.
From young beginners learning the game for the first time to competitive athletes chasing school teams, overseas exposure, and U.S. college pathways, TDJ exists to develop players with standards.
Not hype. Not empty promises. Real work.
WHY TDJ EXISTS
Singapore has athletes with talent, discipline, and ambition.
But for too long, many families have had the same problem: they can find basketball classes, but they struggle to find a true development system.
A system that teaches the game properly.
A system that holds athletes accountable.
A system that understands what higher-level basketball actually looks like.
A system that can guide serious athletes beyond local training.
TDJ was created to close that gap.
We are not trying to be the biggest basketball academy in Singapore. We are building the most trusted one — an academy where athletes are placed properly, coached with intent, and developed with a clear next step.
WHAT “NBA-LEVEL” MEANS AT TDJ

NBA-level does not mean every weekly session is run by an NBA coach.
It means the standards are higher.
At TDJ, our NBA/D1-linked network influences how we think about development, coach education, curriculum, film review, athlete standards, overseas exposure, and pathway preparation.
Our overall training program is designed and overseen by our overseas Program Director, ensuring alignment with higher-level basketball standards. On the ground, Coach Race is responsible for executing the program, bringing his experience, leadership, and guidance to every session.
Our athletes are not just taught drills. They are taught how to train, how to listen, how to compete, how to respond to coaching, and how to understand the game.
That is the difference.
NBA-level is not a slogan for us. It is the standard we uphold in every session.

OUR NETWORK
TDJ learns from the highest levels of basketball, including the NBA and NCAA Division I environments.
This includes connections across:
• NBA-level trainers, coaches, and former players
• NCAA Division I, II, and III school coaches
• U.S. college pathway contacts
• Overseas scouts and development coaches
• High-level international basketball environments
• Athletes and coaches who understand what it takes to compete beyond Singapore
These relationships help TDJ give serious athletes a clearer understanding of what the next level requires — technically, physically, mentally, and academically.
For selected athletes, this may include pathway education, overseas exposure, training opportunities, coach introductions, U.S. trip opportunities, and guidance around what schools and coaches are actually looking for.
Opportunities are earned. Nothing is guaranteed. But TDJ can help serious athletes prepare and position themselves better.
