The problem we hear from parents:

  • Inattentive coaching — athletes get lost in crowded sessions.

  • No visible progress — months go by without clear improvement.

  • Generic training — same drills for every kid, regardless of level.

Our fix (how TDJ is built):

  • Small by design: Groups capped at 15 so every rep gets coached.

  • Measured development:
    U.S.–style curriculum with clear placement and progression rubrics.

  • Quarterly reviews:
    Every player is reviewed each quarter; we cross-check attendance history with progress so parents see the full picture.

  • Rigorous coach hiring & training:
    3-stage vetting (references + CV screen → on-court practical → curriculum/parent-comms role-play). 90-day probation with shadowing and film-review audits. Interns/new hires do not coach competitive groups until they pass audits and live evaluations.

  • Pathways, not promises:
    Guided placements for school teams, DSA, and overseas exposure when earned.

The TDJ standard:

  • Every session led by a senior coach. No missed reps.

  • Max 15 per group: Role-specific reps and targeted corrections.

  • Planned & reviewed:
    Session plans published to staff; post-session notes feed back into the curriculum; parents get block updates.

  • Hiring standard:
    Only coaches who clear our 3-stage vetting and 90-day probation lead sessions. Interns/new hires never coach competitive groups until cleared via audits and live evaluations.
